ABSOLUTE Ministries Men's Campus House #4 Men's Recovery Home

About this Recovery Home

ABSOLUTE Ministries Men's Campus House #4 is a men's sober living home in Lake Tapps, Washington, in Pierce County, operated as part of ABSOLUTE Ministries' residential campus for men in recovery.

One of Several Men's Sober Houses on the Lake Tapps Campus

Campus House #4 sits inside a cluster of ABSOLUTE Ministries men's residences in Lake Tapps and neighboring Bonney Lake. The numbering reflects a campus built house by house over time, and it means a man assigned here is one of several dozen the ministry currently houses across that small footprint.

Structure Built Around Accountability

ABSOLUTE Ministries asks every resident to keep a job, complete a personal development workbook and connect with a local church. Founded in 2009, the ministry has run its housing on that same combination of employment, faith practice and peer accountability since the beginning, and Campus House #4 follows it like every other house in the network.

Certified Sober Living in Washington

Certification comes from the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences, the state's NARR affiliate, and it is voluntary in this state. An operator that holds it has signed on to a code of ethics, disclosed its rules in writing, and opened itself to a complaint process outside its own staff.

Lake Tapps and the Pierce County Recovery Housing Cluster

Lake Tapps is an unincorporated community in Pierce County built around the reservoir of the same name, and it has become the center of ABSOLUTE Ministries' housing footprint. A resident here is close to the ministry's other Lake Tapps and Bonney Lake houses, which keeps a transfer between houses a short move within the same county.
