Simply Grace - Evans House Women's Recovery Home

About this Recovery Home

Simply Grace – Evans House is a certified women's sober living home in Plano, Texas, in Collin County. It is operated by Simply Grace, a Dallas-based nonprofit that has run recovery housing for women since 2011, and it holds Level II certification through TROHN, the Texas Recovery Oriented Housing Network.

A Certified Women's Sober Living Home in Plano

This home is part of Simply Grace's five-house network and follows the same program every Simply Grace resident works through: a sponsor and active step work, a minimum of thirty hours a week in employment, school or volunteering, and daily alcohol testing backed by random weekly drug screens. Plano sits in Collin County, part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, which puts the house within reach of the region's outpatient providers and entry-level job market.

What Level II Certification Through TROHN Establishes

Texas does not license recovery residences, so certification through TROHN is voluntary, and Simply Grace has chosen to hold it here. Level II describes a monitored residence: peer-managed housing with structured expectations and clinical care handled by outside providers. Certification also commits the house to a code of ethics, written disclosure of fees and rules before move-in, and a written relapse and discharge policy that TROHN can review on complaint.

Structure Shared Across the Simply Grace Network

Every Simply Grace home runs on the same levels-based system, so a resident moving between houses in the network keeps the same expectations and the same clinical team behind her. One of the five homes is set up specifically for mothers with young children, which lets a woman in that situation stay close to her kids while working the same program as everyone else.

Recovery Housing in Collin County

Plano is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and that regional density of outpatient care, courts and employers is exactly what a resident coming out of treatment needs within easy reach. A certified home in Plano gives a family evaluating options from outside the area a specific, checkable credential.
