Where Recovery Begins: Detox and Early Treatment

The East Campus holds sixty women at a time and covers the earliest and most medically intensive part of the continuum, with 24/7 nursing care and medication-assisted treatment available when a physician indicates it is appropriate.

A Second Campus, a Different Purpose

Where the organization's larger West Campus supports women through months of longer-term residential recovery, the East Campus is built for the acute phase: safe withdrawal and stabilization before a woman moves into longer-term housing.

Medication-Assisted Treatment on Site

Mending Hearts describes a person-centered, evidence-based approach to medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, combining medication with counseling and behavioral therapy under an interdisciplinary clinical team.

CARF-Accredited, State-Licensed Care

Both Mending Hearts campuses operate under CARF accreditation and Tennessee state licensure, and the organization has provided care to more than 7,500 women since founder Trina Frierson opened the program's first house in 2004.

Part of a Nashville Continuum of Care

The East Campus feeds directly into Mending Hearts' larger West Campus and its reintegration services, keeping a woman inside one Davidson County organization from detox through the months of housing that typically follow it.
