Resident's House is one of six certified residences Resonance Center for Women operates in Tulsa, housing seven women. Unlike Kirtley House and Elwood House, it is it carries the same OKARR certification and the same operator behind it.

Level 3 Certification Through OKARR

OKARR, the Oklahoma Alliance for Recovery Resources, is Oklahoma's sole recognized certifier of recovery residences and the state's National Alliance for Recovery Residences affiliate. Level 3 certification requires a published code of ethics, written fees and rules disclosed before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and acceptance of outside complaint review. Resident's House holds that certification currently, verified through the end of 2026.

One House Inside a Larger Reentry Model

Resonance pairs its housing with its own women's outpatient treatment and reentry services for women coming out of incarceration, running transitional housing for up to six months from the day a resident is released, with subsidized rent in the first month. A woman at Resident's House has access to that same continuum without needing a second provider.

Part of Tulsa's Concentration of Recovery Housing

Tulsa, the seat of Tulsa County, holds more certified recovery residences than almost anywhere else in the state, and Resonance's six houses are part of that concentration. Staying in Tulsa keeps a resident near the same courts, providers and employers regardless of which of the operator's houses she is placed in.
