About this Sober House
LifeGate Ministries Women's Program is a women's recovery residence in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, in Creek County. Twenty-five beds, OKARR Certified Level 3, operated by LifeGate Freedom Recovery Ministries as a separate house from its men's ranch.
A Women's Sober House With Its Own Household
The women's program is housed on its own, apart from the men's property, and runs the same seven-month arc on its own schedule. Twenty-five beds makes a substantial household with residents at every stage of the program at once, which is the mechanism most of the useful peer support runs on. Many women arrive after years of hardship, trauma or incarceration. The operator states that plainly, and a program that names its intake honestly tends to be a program that has planned for it.
The Daily Schedule in This Recovery Residence
The published routine is specific. Mornings are devotionals and prayer followed by classes on relapse prevention, anger management or trauma recovery. Afternoons are life skills workshops, group therapy and house responsibilities including meal preparation and housekeeping. Evenings are Bible study, mentorship sessions or Twelve Step groups. Weekends bring church attendance, opportunities for baptism and recreation. Curfews apply, attendance at classes and activities is required, there is zero tolerance for drugs or alcohol, and leaving the property is restricted in the early phases.
Life Skills and Employment From a Women's Sober Living Home
The first thirty days are reserved for recovery with no work expectation. After that, residents learn cooking, financial literacy, parenting where it applies, and job readiness skills including resume building and interview preparation. Staff help secure driver's licenses, birth certificates and Social Security cards, which is the unglamorous work that decides whether someone can be hired at all. The program then moves into work integration and financial accountability, and finally into transition and re-entry with aftercare planning.
What OKARR Level 3 Certification Establishes
Certification through the Oklahoma Alliance for Recovery Resources at Level 3 places this residence in the supervised tier, describing paid staff, administrative oversight and a written program. It also binds the house to a published code of ethics, written disclosure of fees and house rules before move-in, a documented relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process outside the residence.
Admission to This Creek County Recovery Home
Applicants must be eighteen or older, free from drugs and alcohol at intake, and committed to the full seven months. Space is limited and applications are taken on a rolling basis, with some women arriving directly from incarceration and others referred by family or community connections. The street address of the women's house is not published, and placement runs through the operator. Sapulpa is the seat of Creek County, on Route 66 southwest of Tulsa.
