Beacon Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Beacon is a men's sober living home in Wooster, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing at the Managed level and built to accommodate residents who use a wheelchair.

A Ten-Bed Managed Sober House With Accessible Space

Ten beds makes Beacon the largest men's house in this operator's network, and the Managed level pairs that scale with staff oversight. The house also accepts residents with children and is built with accessible features, which together cover more circumstances than a smaller, standard house would.

What Managed Certification Adds to This Recovery Residence

The Managed level layers staff oversight over the peer structure residents live under day to day, and certification through Ohio Recovery Housing still requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules, and a written relapse and discharge policy.

Accessibility and Medical Access in Wayne County Recovery Housing

Wooster is the seat of Wayne County, and a resident coordinating ongoing medical care alongside recovery has reason to value both the house's accessible features and the county's proximity to Wayne County health services.
