Richardson Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Richardson is a men's sober living home in Columbus, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and serving Franklin County.

Recovery Housing in the Franklin County Seat

Columbus serves as both Ohio's capital and the seat of Franklin County government, which means county courts, state offices and social service agencies sit within a short distance of each other. A resident managing a court date, a benefits appointment and a recovery house schedule has less ground to cover than in a county without that concentration.

Seven Beds Under Managed-Level Recovery Residence Certification

Richardson holds seven beds and is certified at Ohio Recovery Housing's Managed level, pairing peer-run daily structure with outside oversight of the program. Certification requires a written code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, and a documented relapse and discharge policy.

A Certified Sober House Under Ohio's Registry

Since January 2026, Ohio Recovery Housing certification and the state's recovery residence registry have functioned as one list, so every address that carries this certification also appears on the state's own record. A complaint about the house routes through a channel independent of daily staff.

Applying to This Franklin County Recovery Home

The street address is not published, and an application goes through the operator. Ask about the intake timeline, how beds are assigned, and how a concern is escalated beyond the house itself.
