Pathway Sober House is a coed sober living home in Warren, Ohio, in Trumbull County, running a faith-based recovery curriculum called Total Deliverance.

A Coed Sober House on Parkman Road

This sober house in Warren serves men, women and children together, an unusual structure that lets a parent keep custody of a child while working a recovery program rather than choosing between the two. Parkman Road runs through Warren's western side, inside the same Mahoning Valley corridor that connects the city to Niles and Youngstown.

Total Deliverance: A Christian 12-Step Curriculum

Pathway Sober House built its program, Total Deliverance, around a Christian interpretation of the 12 steps. Residents work through in-house classes covering anger management, conflict resolution, mindfulness, relapse prevention and life skills, alongside help with employment, continuing education and job readiness. The faith component is explicit rather than incidental: the program frames recovery as a spiritual undertaking as much as a behavioral one.

A Program Open to Families

Few sober houses in the region accept children alongside a parent in recovery, and Pathway Sober House's stated design fills that specific gap. That structure suits a parent who would otherwise have to choose between entering residential recovery housing and keeping their family together.

Recovery Housing in Trumbull County

Warren is the Trumbull County seat, and the county's courts, outpatient providers and job centers are concentrated there. A Warren sober house sits inside that network rather than requiring a resident to travel to Youngstown or Niles for services that Warren already provides locally.

PSH offers a variety of skills training such as a 12-step Christian Recovery Program called Total Deliverance (TD) which incorporates a faith-based foundation with the 12-Step process of recovery.  We also provide resources for health and wellness, continued education, job-readiness, and employment.  We have incorporated in addition to the outsourced resources in-house classes such as anger management, conflict resolution, mindfulness, relapse prevention, and life skills training.
