About this Recovery House

Men's Graduate House is a men's sober living home in Sidney, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and serving Shelby County.

A Peer-Run Sober House for Men in Shelby County

Men's Graduate House holds Peer-Run certification, the entry level in Ohio's three-tier system, meaning residents largely manage the household themselves under the code of ethics certification requires. Four beds keeps the house small, and the graduate designation in its name points to a house serving men further along in their recovery.

What Peer-Run Certification Establishes for This Recovery Residence

Certification at any level requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and house rules before move-in, and a written relapse and discharge policy answerable to a complaint process outside the house. Peer-Run housing carries the least outside staff oversight of Ohio's three levels.

Recovery Housing in the Shelby County Seat

Sidney is the Shelby County seat and home to Copeland Corporation, a major compressor manufacturer and one of the area's largest employers, alongside the county courthouse downtown.
