A Supervised Sober Living Home in Portsmouth

Supervised is a closer level of oversight than Managed or Peer-Run, with staff more directly involved in the household's daily schedule and structure. Six beds gives a supervised setting room for a real group dynamic while staff still keep close track of each resident.

What Supervised Certification Requires of This Recovery Residence

Ohio Recovery Housing requires every Supervised residence to publish a code of ethics, disclose fees and rules before move-in, keep a written relapse and discharge policy, and maintain a complaint process outside the house. This residence is not wheelchair accessible.

Portsmouth's County Seat Resources for Recovery Housing

Portsmouth holds the Scioto County Courthouse, Southern Ohio Medical Center and Shawnee State University inside city limits, so residents at a Supervised level of oversight still have full access to courts, healthcare and education without leaving town.
