Sixth Street Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Sixth Street is a women's sober living home in Portsmouth, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and serving Scioto County. It is certified at the Supervised level and houses sixteen residents.

A Sixteen-Bed Supervised Sober House for Women

Sixteen beds makes this a large certified household, and the Supervised level is Ohio Recovery Housing's most staffed designation, meaning on-site staff coverage sits alongside the peer relationships residents build with one another. The house serves women only.

What Supervised Certification Establishes at This Recovery Residence

A certified house commits in writing to a code of ethics, discloses fees and house rules before move-in, keeps a written relapse and discharge policy, and answers to a complaint process outside the house. The Supervised level layers the heaviest staff presence of Ohio's three certification levels on top of those baseline commitments.
