Yearling Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Yearling is a men's sober living home in Columbus, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and located in Franklin County.

An Eight-Bed Sober House in Central Ohio

Eight residents share Yearling's common space, meetings and chores, a size large enough for genuine peer support and still small enough that a house meeting reaches everyone directly. The household runs on the same rules for every resident, regardless of how long someone has lived there.

Downtown Columbus and This Recovery Residence

Columbus's downtown core, including its arena district and government buildings, sits within the same county as this home, putting employers, courts and state offices within reach of a Columbus address. Franklin County's size means more of those resources exist locally than in a smaller county.

Managed-Level Recovery Housing Certification

Ohio Recovery Housing certifies Yearling at the Managed level, combining resident-led daily life with outside oversight. The certification requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process independent of house staff.

Applying to This Columbus Sober Living Home

The street address is not published, and placement is arranged through the operator. Ask how the eight beds are assigned, what the fee covers, and how a grievance reaches someone outside the house.
