The Painesville House One Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

The Painesville House One is a men's sober living home in Painesville, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and serving Lake County. It is certified at the Managed level and houses fourteen residents.

A Fourteen-Bed Sober House in the Lake County Seat

Fourteen beds makes this the largest of the operator's two Painesville houses, and a household that size runs on a defined structure: a regular meeting rotation, assigned chores and a manager whose job is tracking a full roster.

What Managed Certification Requires of This Large Sober House

Ohio Recovery Housing certifies the house at the Managed level: peer leadership handles day-to-day operations with outside staff oversight, and clinical treatment is referred to providers elsewhere. Certification requires a published code of ethics, fees and rules disclosed in writing before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process reaching past the house manager, which matters more in a fourteen-bed household than a small one.

Painesville and Lake County Recovery Housing

Painesville is the seat of Lake County, sitting along the Grand River near Lake Erie, and it carries the county courthouse and the county's central government offices. A resident here can meet a court obligation and reach outpatient care in the same city.

Applying to This Painesville Sober Living Home

The street address is not published, and placement runs through the operator, Jeff's Sober Living. With fourteen beds in the house, ask specifically how residents are assigned to rooms, what the weekly fee covers, and how a complaint moves past the house manager.
