A Seven-Bed Certified Sober House for Men

Seven beds sits toward the larger end for a men's residence under the Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers name, and the Managed level's structure holds a household that size together: peer accountability day to day, with staff oversight and written expectations layered on top.

Recovery Housing Certification and What It Establishes

Ohio Recovery Housing is the state's affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, and since the start of 2026 its certification and the state recovery-housing registry have been the same list. A certified home discloses fees and house rules before move-in, keeps a written relapse and discharge policy, and answers to a complaint process outside the house.

Painesville Recovery Housing at the Lake County Seat

Painesville is the Lake County seat, with the county courthouse and its main hospital inside the city, and it sits a short drive from Lake Erie and the wider Cleveland job market.
