Discovery Recovery Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Discovery Recovery is a women's sober living home in Medina, Ohio, in Medina County. It houses twelve residents, is wheelchair accessible, and carries certification from Ohio Recovery Housing at the Supervised level.

A Certified Women's Sober House in Medina County

The house serves women only, with twelve beds making it one of the larger certified houses in the county. Bathrooms, bedrooms and house meetings all follow one set of expectations built around that population.

Twelve Beds and Wheelchair Accessible Recovery Home

Supervised is Ohio Recovery Housing's highest level of on-site oversight, and a household this size benefits from the regular staff presence that level requires. The building is also wheelchair accessible, narrowing the field for a woman who needs that accommodation.

What Supervised Certification Requires of This Recovery Residence

Certification obligates the operator to a published code of ethics, fees and house rules disclosed in writing before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process outside the house. Clinical care for residents stays with outside providers.

Recovery Housing in Medina

Medina is the seat of Medina County, known for its historic town square, and sits between Akron and Cleveland. Residents can reach both cities' hospitals and treatment providers while living in a smaller county-seat setting.
