Three residents makes for a tight household where staff and housemates know each other well within days. The small size favors residents who want close daily support over a larger peer group.

Certification at the Managed level requires a published code of ethics, fees and house rules disclosed before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process independent of house staff. Clinical treatment is handled by outpatient providers elsewhere.
