Matthew's House Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Matthew's House is a men's sober living home in Marietta, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and serving Washington County. It holds Managed-level certification and twelve beds, the largest single household in the operator's Marietta network.

A Twelve-Bed Men's Sober House

Twelve men share the household, and a group this size runs on structure: assigned chores, regular meetings and a consistent schedule keep the household functioning as one unit.

Managed Certification at This Recovery Home

The Managed level pairs peer leadership with staff oversight, and clinical services come from outside providers. Certification requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint channel that runs outside the house.

The Largest of Perfect Purpose Inc's Sober Homes

Perfect Purpose Inc operates five certified houses in Marietta, and Matthew's House carries the largest bed count of the group. Its size gives the operator's men's housing the most capacity in the network.

Marietta and Washington County Recovery Housing

Marietta sits along the Ohio River at the mouth of the Muskingum, and its position as county seat keeps courts, Memorial Health System and Marietta College all within the city.
