About this Recovery House

Glacier House is a men's sober living home in Columbus, Ohio, serving Franklin County under certification from Ohio Recovery Housing.

The Last of Eight We Are Overcomers Sober Homes in Columbus

Glacier House rounds out the eight certified houses that We Are Overcomers Inc. operates in the city. Each house carries its own name and its own six or so residents, but all eight answer to the same operator, the same fee structure and the same rules.

A Men's Recovery Residence With Six Beds

Six men live in the house, and the single-gender household covers bathrooms, common space and house meetings alike. That size keeps residents known to each other by name, which is where accountability starts.

What Managed-Level Certification Means for a Sober Living Home

Ohio Recovery Housing certifies Glacier House at the Managed level, combining peer leadership with outside oversight. A certified house discloses its fees and rules before move-in, keeps a written relapse and discharge policy, and answers to a complaint process outside the house.

Franklin County Recovery Housing in Ohio's Capital

Columbus is the seat of Franklin County and Ohio's capital, with Ohio State University, county courts and COTA transit inside city limits, giving residents a path to work, treatment and legal obligations without a car.
