Men's Dorm Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Men's Dorm is a men's sober living home in Lima, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing at the Supervised level and serving Allen County.

Supervised-Level Certification for a Larger Recovery Residence

With 49 beds, Men's Dorm is a large residence, and the Supervised level fits that scale: a higher degree of on-site staff presence and structure than a peer-managed house, while clinical treatment is still handled by outside providers. Certification requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and house rules, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process outside the house.

A Wheelchair-Accessible Men's Sober House

The residence is wheelchair accessible, which is not a given among sober living homes and matters directly to anyone whose mobility needs would otherwise rule out group housing.

Lima is the seat of Allen County, historically an oil-refining and manufacturing city in west-central Ohio. St. Rita's Medical Center and Lima Memorial Health System both operate in the city, giving residents medical care close by, and the county courts sit in the same city.
