KOH Lima Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

KOH Lima is a men's sober living home in Lima, Ohio, in Allen County.

A Six-Bed Peer-Run Men's Recovery Residence

The house serves men only and holds six residents, small enough that peer accountability carries real weight day to day. It is certified at the Peer-Run level, the model in which residents themselves hold most of the house's daily leadership, with clinical care handled entirely by outside providers.

What Peer-Run Certification Requires of a Sober House

Ohio Recovery Housing is the state's affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, and since the start of 2026 its certification and the state registry have been one list. A certified house commits in writing to a code of ethics, discloses fees and house rules before move-in, keeps a written relapse and discharge policy, and answers to a complaint process outside the house.

Lima and Allen County Recovery Housing

Lima is the seat of Allen County in northwest Ohio, home to Lima Memorial Health System and the University of Northwestern Ohio. The city serves as the commercial center for the surrounding rural county, so courts, hospitals and employers are all close by.

Applying to This Lima Sober Living Home

The street address is not published, and placement runs through the operator. Before applying, ask what the weekly fee covers, how peer leadership is structured in the house, what happens after a relapse, and how a complaint is escalated past the house.
