E Chestnut Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

E Chestnut is a men's sober living home in Lancaster, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and serving Fairfield County.

What Certification Guarantees at This Recovery Residence

A certified house commits in writing to a code of ethics, discloses fees and rules before move-in, keeps a written relapse and discharge policy, and answers to a complaint process outside the house. Ohio Recovery Housing certification requires that a resident's prescription for medication used to treat opioid use disorder not be treated as a barrier to admission.

A Men's Sober House With Five Beds

The house serves men exclusively, and five beds is small enough that house meetings involve everyone. Rules apply the same way to every resident regardless of how long they have lived there.

Fairfield County's Recovery Housing Network

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions runs several certified houses in Lancaster, the Fairfield County seat, where Fairfield Medical Center and the Fairfield County Municipal Court both operate. That concentration means a resident's county-level obligations stay fixed even if the specific house changes.
