Fidlay Ports Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Fidlay Ports is a women's sober living home in Portsmouth, Ohio, serving Scioto County. The residence is certified by Ohio Recovery Housing at the Supervised level and houses six women in recovery.

A Women's Sober House in the Scioto County Seat

Portsmouth is the seat of Scioto County, and living inside a county seat means a courthouse, hospital and university are all reachable without leaving the city. Southern Ohio Medical Center and Shawnee State University both sit in Portsmouth, which matters for a woman balancing medical care, coursework or a court obligation against her recovery.

A Six-Bed Women's Sober Living Home

The house holds six women, and every bed, common area and house meeting is built around that single population. A household this size stays small enough that residents know each other well, which is the part peer accountability depends on most.

Supervised Certification Under Ohio Recovery Housing

The Supervised level describes peer-led housing with resident leadership and structured oversight. Certification requires a published code of ethics, house rules and fees disclosed before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process that runs outside the house.

Applying to This Portsmouth Sober Living Home

The street address is not published, and placement runs through PNP Recovery. Ask what the weekly fee covers, what the discharge policy requires, and how a complaint is escalated outside the house.
