Ruby Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Ruby is a men's sober living home in Columbus, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and located in Franklin County.

A Six-Bed Sober House on Columbus's East Side

Six beds is a small household by any measure, and the size is the point. Residents share a kitchen, a living room and a set of house rules with five other men, not fifty, so accountability is personal instead of anonymous. A resident who misses a house meeting is noticed the same day. That scale suits men early in recovery who need structure they can actually track.

Managed-Level Certification for This Recovery Home

Ohio Recovery Housing certifies Ruby at the Managed level: peer-managed daily operations with outside oversight layered on top. The certification requires a written code of ethics, disclosed fees and house rules before move-in, a documented relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint channel that does not run through the house manager. Since January 2026 this certification and Ohio's own recovery housing registry have been a single list.

Franklin County Courts and Recovery Housing

Columbus houses both the Franklin County Municipal Court and the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, and many men arrive at sober housing with an open case or a probation obligation tied to one of them. A Columbus address keeps a court date, a probation check-in and a recovery house under the same short drive.

Applying to This Franklin County Sober Living Home

Ruby's street address is not published, and an application goes through the operator directly. Ask how the six beds are assigned, what happens if a bed opens mid-month, and how a grievance reaches someone outside the house.
