Unit I Coed Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Unit I is one of twelve certified sober living homes Sunstone Life operates in Cincinnati, Ohio, serving Hamilton County under Ohio Recovery Housing certification.

One of Twelve Sunstone Life Recovery Residences in Cincinnati

Sunstone Life runs a dozen coed houses across the city, each certified individually, and Unit I holds five residents at the Managed level. The Hamilton County Courthouse sits downtown, within reach for anyone in the network managing an open legal matter.

A Coed Sober Home for Residents With Children

The house accepts residents with children living with them, an accommodation not every certified sober home in Ohio extends. Keeping the household at five residents makes that arrangement workable for staff and residents alike.

What Managed Certification Requires at This Sober House

Certification commits the operator to a published code of ethics, fees and house rules disclosed before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process independent of the house. Xavier University, also in the city, anchors part of the same community these residences serve.

Applying to This Cincinnati Recovery Residence

The street address is not published, and placement runs through the operator. Ask how a transfer within the twelve-house network would work if ever needed, what the weekly fee covers, and how a complaint is escalated.
