Demorest Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Demorest is a women's sober living home in Columbus, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing at the Managed level and serving Franklin County.

A Certified Women's Sober House

The house serves women only, which settles who shares the kitchen, the bathrooms and the house meetings. Five beds keeps the household small enough for residents to know each other well, and that familiarity is what peer accountability runs on day to day.

What Managed-Level Certification Establishes for a Recovery Residence

Ohio Recovery Housing certification means Demorest operates under a published code of ethics, discloses fees and house rules before move-in, keeps a written relapse and discharge policy, and answers to a complaint process that runs outside the house. The Managed level describes staff oversight paired with structured daily expectations, with clinical care handled by outside providers.

Recovery Housing on Columbus's West Side

Demorest sits in the ZIP 43228 area of Columbus, on the city's west side, within Franklin County. Franklin County's courts, hospitals and Ohio State University are all reachable within the county, and COTA bus routes serve the west side directly.
