About this Sober House

Riverstone Recovery Residence is a women's sober living home in Missoula, Montana, in Missoula County. It is the first residence operated by Olyva Health Group and accommodates up to eight women in private and shared rooms, with certification through Recovery Access Montana pending.

Missoula's First Dedicated Women's Sober Living Home

Riverstone opened to address a gap that had gone unfilled in Missoula's behavioral health continuum: a sober living home built specifically for women, distinct from a mixed-gender house or one converted from a men's program. Up to eight women live there at a time, with a choice between private and shared rooms, in a structured, peer-supported environment.

Pending Certification Through Recovery Access Montana

Riverstone operates under the National Alliance for Recovery Residences framework and has applied for certification through Recovery Access Montana, the state's NARR affiliate. Pending certification means the house has begun the process of committing to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules, and outside complaint review, though the certification itself has not yet been granted.

A New Recovery Housing Provider in Missoula

Olyva Health Group built Riverstone as the first home under its own name, with a stated intent to add more women's recovery residences across Missoula and other Montana markets. A new operator with one home carries less track record than an established provider, but the specific focus on women's housing addresses a shortage that a general-purpose sober house does not solve.

Recovery Housing in Missoula County

Missoula is the seat of Missoula County and the largest city in western Montana, with a full range of outpatient providers, employers and transit inside one county. A structured, peer-supported home for women here gives residents access to that network without the added disruption of relocating to a different part of the state for housing.
