Promises of Hope runs on Mission Gate Ministry's Christian residential model: a phased, long-term stay built around Bible-based recovery, house structure and eventual family reunification, with no fixed thirty- or ninety-day track. Women apply directly through the ministry, and the same statement of faith and program expectations that govern the ministry's other homes apply here.
Recovery Housing in Lincoln County
Lincoln County sits in the outer St. Louis metro, close enough to draw on the region's treatment and social-service network but rural enough to keep Promises of Hope isolated from it day to day. Troy itself holds the county courthouse and the county's main services, which matters for a resident with a court date or a case manager based locally.
Missouri Sober Living Certification
Missouri's certification for recovery residences, run by the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers, is voluntary, so a home's absence from that list carries no negative weight. Promises of Hope operates under Mission Gate Ministry, a certified-eligible operator running a long-standing program across multiple counties.

ABOUT US
Mission Gate offers programs for women at three facilities in rural Missouri. Our nine-month-minimum programs help women begin new lives through Christ and prepare to be reunited with their children and families.
We accept women, as well as mothers with children (up to age 12) who are newly released from prison or coming out of addiction, who understand that Mission Gate is a Christ-centered program, and who have submitted an application.
