Daniel's House Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Daniel's House is a men's sober living home in St. Louis, Missouri, the fourth of Mission Gate Ministry's guest houses for men in the city.

A Men's Sober House Named for Its Founder's Story

Daniel's House carries a name Mission Gate Ministry ties to its own history instead of a street or a neighborhood, and it houses men alongside the ministry's other three St. Louis guest houses. Its city location keeps residents close to bus lines and hourly work while they build the routine the program asks for.

A Long-Term, Faith-Based Recovery Program

Like every Mission Gate Ministry residence, Daniel's House runs a phased Christian recovery program with no fixed length of stay, and family reunification is written into the later stages of the program instead of handled separately at discharge.

St. Louis as a Base for Recovery

St. Louis operates as an independent city and its own county under Missouri law, and it holds the state's deepest bench of outpatient providers, courts and transit routes. Daniel's House residents use that network without a rural commute.

Missouri Sober Living Certification

Certification through the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers is voluntary statewide, so a house's absence from the list says nothing about how it is run. Daniel's House operates under Mission Gate Ministry, a multi-county, certified-eligible operator.

The Rest of the Ministry's St. Louis Houses

Daniel's House rounds out Mission Gate Ministry's city footprint alongside Louisiana, Nebraska and Osage, three more men's guest houses under the same roof of leadership and the same statement of faith.
