Barnhouse Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Barnhouse is a men's sober living home in Columbia, Missouri, in Boone County, operated by In2Action and certified with the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers.

A Men's Recovery Home in Columbia

Barnhouse houses men working through In2Action's reentry program, giving residents a fixed, supervised address at a point when housing instability is one of the biggest risks to staying out of custody. In2Action has not published a street address for this house; confirm placement directly with the operator.

What Certification With MCRSP Requires

Certification through Missouri's NARR affiliate commits the house to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and an outside complaint process. Missouri imposes no legal requirement to certify, so this is a standard In2Action applies to every address it runs, Barnhouse included.

A Boone County Address for Reentry

Columbia's role as county seat puts courts, probation offices and community services within reach of a house like this one, and its size supports the kind of entry-level hiring that a reentry timeline depends on.

One of Ten In2Action Sober Houses

Barnhouse belongs to a ten-house network that In2Action runs across Columbia, most of it for men and one residence set aside for women. A resident who needs a different house later stays inside the same referral relationship.
