Litchfield House holds six bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, newly renovated by Aspire Sober Living to a standard the operator applies across its Saint Paul portfolio. Aspire Sober Living states on its own website that it is approved by the Minnesota Association of Sober Homes and is inspected against its standards, though the association's published roster does not currently list the operator. Certification in Minnesota is voluntary, so nothing about running a sober home depends on it, and a resident who wants the written code of ethics, the disclosed fees and rules and the outside complaint process that certification carries should ask the operator to show its current standing.

One of Four Aspire Sober Living Homes

Litchfield House is one of four Aspire Sober Living properties in Saint Paul, alongside houses on Blair Avenue, Dayton Avenue and Hague Avenue. All four are newly renovated and run to the same standard, so a resident who later needs a different house within the program is dealing with a familiar operator.

The kitchens are fully stocked for cooking and include dishes, glassware, utensils, coffee maker, and dishwasher.  Each home features 2 new refrigerators in the kitchen along with ample cupboard space for food storage.  Large screen TVs with digital cable are provided in the living areas along with high-speed WIFI. A washer and dryer are provided at each house with no additional charge for laundry.  Outside seating is provided along with grills for outdoor cooking. The Litchfield house has 6 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.   A house manager lives in each home full time.  Weekly house meetings are held on Sunday evenings and all residents are required to attend.  It is expected that all residents work an active program of recovery during their time at Aspire Sober Living.
