Hands on Recovery and Wellness Center Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Hands on Recovery and Wellness Center is a men's sober living home in Lawrenceville, Georgia, the seat of Gwinnett County. It holds GARR Level II Type M (Monitored) certification.

A Men's Sober House in Gwinnett County's Seat

The house serves men only, and Level II Type M certification places it among Georgia's monitored recovery residences: peer-managed housing with structure and oversight, short of a clinically staffed program. Lawrenceville's status as county seat means courts, county services and a large outpatient network sit close by.

What Monitored Certification Establishes

GARR requires a Type M program to disclose fees and rules in writing, keep a relapse and discharge policy, and remain open to an outside complaint process. That record gives a family evaluating the program from a distance something concrete to check.

Recovery Housing in Lawrenceville

Lawrenceville anchors Gwinnett County, one of the state's most populous, and residents here can reach outpatient treatment, employers and public transit without leaving the county seat.

Inquiries go directly to the program. A prospective resident should ask about house structure, staffing and how the program handles medication for opioid use disorder before committing to a move-in date.
