Graham's House Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Graham's House is a men's sober living home in Demorest, Georgia, in Habersham County. It holds GARR Level II Type M (Monitored) certification, placing it among the state's monitored recovery residences.

A Men's Sober House in Demorest

Graham's House serves men only, and its Level II Type M certification describes a monitored, peer-managed household, distinct from a clinically staffed facility. Demorest is a small city in the foothills of northeast Georgia, home to Piedmont University, and it offers a quieter setting than the metro areas farther south.

What Monitored Certification Establishes

GARR certification at the Type M level commits a program to written rules, disclosed fees and an outside complaint process. For a house in a small town like Demorest, that record gives a family from anywhere in the state a way to check the program before a resident ever moves in.

Recovery Housing in Habersham County

Demorest sits in Habersham County, whose seat, Clarkesville, lies just a few miles away. Residents at Graham's House draw on the shared services of this corner of northeast Georgia, including Habersham Medical Center and the outpatient providers based in Clarkesville.

Applying to Graham's House

Applications go directly to the program. A prospective resident should ask about the house's daily schedule, its staffing, and its policy on medication for opioid use disorder, since those specifics sit with the operator under Georgia's voluntary certification system.
