Glynn's Place combines sober housing with active clinical programming. Residents attend professionally facilitated group sessions twice a week, totaling six contact hours with certified addiction counselors, and the program uses twelve-panel urine drug screening two to three times weekly to hold everyone accountable.

A Structured Daily and Weekly Routine

The program builds its week around consistent expectations for every resident:

• Six weekly contact hours with certified addiction counselors, split across two group sessions.
• Twelve-panel drug screening two to three times per week.
• A written relapse management plan kept on file for each resident.
• Mandatory Twelve Step meeting attendance five days a week.
• A sponsor secured within the first month.

That combination of testing, group counseling and mandatory meetings gives Glynn's Place more built-in clinical structure than a typical peer-run sober house, which matters for a man who needs more oversight than an unsupervised group home provides.

Staffed in Part by Program Alumni

Some of the staff at Glynn's Place are alumni of the program itself, working in various capacities while holding or pursuing addiction counseling certification. A house staffed partly by people who went through the same program gives residents a direct model of what completing it looks like.

Recovery Housing in Laurens County

Dublin is the seat of Laurens County and the commercial center of this part of middle Georgia, sitting on the Oconee River. That concentration of courts, outpatient providers and employers gives residents of Laurens County recovery housing a working base for meetings, probation check-ins and jobs without needing to travel far.

Applying to Glynn's Place

Admission runs directly through Glynn's Place. Given the program's structured testing and counseling schedule, a prospective resident should ask specifically how the drug screening and group sessions are scheduled around work, and how the relapse management plan is enforced.

We have a census of 6-8 men that we treat for Alcoholism and Addiction in a caring, wholesome 12-step oriented manner. We require attendance at 12-step recovery meetings 5 nights per week and professional addiction groups 2 nights per week. We eat well and we don't require our residents to have EBT cards. We don't have add-on fees for food or transportation. Every man is treated as an individual, there is not a "cookie cutter" treatment plan. Our philosophy is to allow as much freedom and responsibility as each person can appropriately manage.
