A Men's Sober House on North Hill Parkway
Stepping Stones of Atlanta serves men only, and the house frames its work around three words: unity, service and recovery. Multiple drug tests a week back that framing with actual accountability, which matters to families evaluating a house from a distance.
A Published Monthly Fee
The house charges twelve hundred dollars a month, with food handled separately by residents. Publishing a fee upfront gives a prospective resident and their family a real number to plan around before committing to a move.
Community Built Through Shared Activity
Beyond meetings, Stepping Stones of Atlanta organizes group outings, including whitewater rafting trips and community service events, and staff take a hands-on role in daily house life. Scholarship opportunities through partner nonprofits are also available for residents who need help covering the fee.
Recovery Housing in Fulton County
Atlanta is the seat of Fulton County and the largest city in Georgia, which means a sober house here sits inside the state's deepest concentration of outpatient providers, meetings and entry-level employment. For a man coming out of treatment with no fixed plan yet, that density of options is a practical advantage over a smaller town.
Applying to Stepping Stones of Atlanta
Applications go directly through the house. Given the published fee and drug testing schedule, useful questions to ask up front include what the monthly cost covers beyond housing, how scholarship assistance is decided, and what specifically happens after a failed test.

Fellowship and Brotherhood
When you have a strong group of guys who strive for a common goal, sobriety, it is very beneficial. Our sober living takes guys out to eat randomly to bond, or even white water rafting. Every year we do something around Christmas to give back to the community. Our sober living is different from other programs because we get to know our clients, and they are not just a "number".Â
Group Outings and Having Fun in Sobriety
This summer, we took all our clients white water rafting. It was a great experience, It teaches our guys how to have fun while being sober. Sober living allows you to connect with guys who have the common goal of staying sober. While in addiction, you miss out on a lot of life. Each year, we try to do some sort of activity that brings everyone together. A huge part of this is about fellowship and brotherhood. Â
