How Oxford House membership works

Oxford Houses are managed day to day by their residents, supported entirely by the residents' own contributions and free of alcohol and drugs. New members are chosen by those already in the home, so the opening shown here is a past report rather than an offer.

Certification and oversight in Florida

Florida has no licensing regime for recovery housing. The state's NARR affiliate, Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR), certifies homes that choose to apply. Certification by the state affiliate and an Oxford House charter are different things; this home holds the latter. Florida publishes its certified-residence directory. Protection runs from the federal Fair Housing Act and Florida Fair Housing Law (Florida Statutes Section 760.23).
