Barcelona Circle sits in an East Naples residential neighborhood, within reach of the same Collier Area Transit routes and outpatient providers that serve the operator's other Naples house. This address is restricted to men, and its chores, meetings and curfew are set for that household alone.

Barcelona Circle is one of two Nextep houses in Naples, with the operator's remaining ten residences split between Fort Myers and Cape Coral. A resident who eventually needs a different setting within the same program can move within an organization that already has his history.

Residents at Barcelona Circle who are prescribed buprenorphine or methadone can continue that treatment through The Nextep's outpatient clinical program while living in the house. Sober living that accommodates prescribed medication for opioid use disorder keeps a resident's housing from working against his treatment plan.

Naples is the seat of Collier County and the region's largest city, holding most of its outpatient treatment capacity and the county courthouse inside city limits. A resident at Barcelona Circle can reach that network without leaving Naples.

The Nextep runs Barcelona Circle on the same four-stage model as its other eleven houses: a weekly chore rotation, a minimum number of 12-step meetings, a curfew, and a requirement to work, look for work, or attend school, backed by drug testing and aimed at a roughly six-month bridge to independent living.
