954 Recovery for Men serves men only, at an SW 7th Avenue address in a residential pocket of Fort Lauderdale south of downtown. Florida separates a residence's own certification, granted voluntarily by the Florida Association of Recovery Residences, from the credential held by the person who runs it day to day. Haylei Grand's Certified Recovery Residence Administrator designation comes from the Florida Certification Board and reflects training in the operational and ethical standards recovery housing is expected to meet, independent of whether this specific address currently carries a residence certification.

More on the Sober House
Someone once described the journey to sobriety as, “A never-ending walk that can wear down even the strongest man if he were to walk alone.†Sadly, over the years, we have seen this happen too many times. That's why we foster a sense of sober house community at all our facilities conducive to recovery. You are not alone.
If you want to walk fast, walk alone; If you want to walk far, walk together.
Others who took the first step
Very clean and recently renovated rooms. A nice place to get and stay sober. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood. Byron, the house manager, is helpful and any issues with the house are dealt with in a timely manner. Recovery is the main focus here. I have had a great experience here so far and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a halfway house.
