More About The Sober House Every attempt is made to accommodate individual needs and match them with roommates in age, interests, and objectives. Our intent is to create and maintain a positive living environment that will maximize each resident's potential for continued recovery at an affordable rate. Residents attend daily 12-step meetings while receiving peer support in their recovery planning, career development, and life skills. We assist residents in finding employment and provide referrals to local therapists, medical doctors, and outpatient programs. Our staff is readily available 24 hours a day. The mission of The Hartman House is to provide a safe environment, supporting the needs of men in early recovery. We do not tolerate any abusive language or actions to or from any of our residents. The Cities of Delray and Boynton Beach are thriving communities conducive to a healthy and recovering lifestyle. The Hartman House is invested in its relationship to the community at large. The Hartman House practices Good Neighbor Policies. Whenever possible our residents participate in civic organizations and event volunteering and planning. Hartman House staff sits on the Drug Awareness Coalition Task Force as well as on the Board of Directors of the local Recovery clubhouse.
