John C & Robert T Taylor House Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

The John C & Robert T Taylor House is a men's sober living home in Boynton Beach, Florida, in Palm Beach County, on East Boynton Beach Boulevard. Addison House, the operator, runs it alongside a second named men's residence, Paul Taylor House, at the same property.

A Named Men's Residence Inside a Larger Program

Like its sibling house, the Taylor House carries a person's name. The organization has run men-only housing in Boynton Beach for about ten years, and its stated purpose is pulling men back into stable relationships and community after addiction has pushed those connections away.

What a Transitional Housing Model Provides

Addison House describes its program as transitional supportive housing built around case management and life-skills training, with a written relapse-prevention component. For a man leaving treatment, that structure is meant to bridge the gap between a clinical setting and living fully on his own.

Palm Beach County's Recovery Housing Density

Boynton Beach sits between Delray Beach and West Palm Beach along Palm Beach County's southeast coast, one of the most concentrated recovery housing markets in Florida. That density means outpatient care, twelve-step meetings and sober-friendly employers are all within easy reach, which is a large part of why so much of the state's recovery housing has clustered along this stretch.

One Program, Two Named Houses

Addison House runs Paul Taylor House at the same address as this one, giving the operator two men's residences under a single program. That structure lets a resident move between houses inside the same organization if his needs change without starting over with a new operator.
