NME Recovery Residence Recovery House

About this Recovery House

NME Recovery Residence is a sober living home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in El Paso County, operated by NME No More Excuses Recovery as part of its recovery housing network. Colorado does not publish street addresses for certified recovery residences, so placement runs through the operator directly.

Recovery Housing Tied to a Treatment Provider

NME No More Excuses Recovery runs this house as an extension of its broader recovery program in Colorado Springs, instead of as a standalone rental. That connection means intake, referrals and case coordination can run through the same organization that treats a resident clinically, cutting down on the handoffs between treatment and housing that often go wrong.

Support for Medication-Assisted Recovery

Residents using medication for opioid use disorder are accepted at NME Recovery Residence. Buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone are treated as part of a resident's recovery plan, which is not the case at every sober house operating in southern Colorado.

What Certification Means Here

Certification for Colorado recovery residences is carried out by Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado, the state's Behavioral Health Administration-approved body, instead of a state license. A house can legally operate outside that system, so confirming current status directly with NME is worth doing before applying.

Colorado Springs and El Paso County

Colorado Springs anchors El Paso County and the Pikes Peak region, with a dense concentration of outpatient providers, courts and entry-level jobs inside city limits. That density supports the coordinated treatment-and-housing model NME No More Excuses Recovery runs, since clinical appointments and the residence stay within the same short radius.
