Temperance Sober Living - Arkansas House Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Temperance Sober Living - Arkansas House is a women's sober living home on Arkansas Avenue in Aurora, Colorado, in Arapahoe County.

A Women's Sober House on Arkansas Avenue

Arkansas Avenue is a major east-west arterial through the Denver metro area, and this Aurora location gives residents direct access to it for commuting and errands. Temperance Sober Living, founded in 2022 by Terri Anne Darling, serves women exclusively across both of its Aurora homes.

A Three-Tiered Level System

Residents progress through three program levels as they meet specific milestones, with structure and expectations increasing as a resident advances through each level. The approach draws on 12-step principles while remaining open to other paths to recovery.

Recovery Coaching

Each resident is paired with a recovery coach who helps set goals and navigate early sobriety, a layer of support beyond house rules alone that gives women at Arkansas House someone specifically responsible for tracking their progress.
