RHI-C - Mexico Recovery House

About this Recovery House

RHI-C – Mexico is a certified sober living home in Aurora, Colorado, in Arapahoe County, operated by Recovery Housing Initiative-Colorado under Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado.

A Sober House in Aurora, East of Denver

Aurora is Colorado's third-largest city and spans three counties, with this residence sitting in the Arapahoe County section. Buckley Space Force Base and the Anschutz Medical Campus both sit within the broader Aurora area, and RTD's R Line connects the city to Denver's Union Station and to Denver International Airport.

What ORH-CO Certification Requires

Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado certification commits RHI-C to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and house rules before move-in, and an outside complaint process. Colorado's Behavioral Health Administration recognizes that certification for state referrals and funding under House Bill 19-1009, and since no level is published for any residence statewide, certification is the fact worth confirming.

Rent Subsidy Support and MAT Acceptance

RHI-C makes rental subsidy support available to eligible residents and accepts applicants on medication for opioid use disorder. This is adult recovery housing, not family housing, and the programming carries no religious requirement.
