Sweetwater House Men's Sober House

About this Sober House

Sweetwater House is a certified men's sober house in Phoenix, Arizona, in Maricopa County. Phoenix Sober Living runs the home, which carries Level 2 certification through the Arizona Recovery Housing Association.

A Men's Sober House Operated by Phoenix Sober Living

Sweetwater House serves men in recovery, one of two men's residences the operator names among its Arizona properties. Keeping the house single-gender settles a good deal for a man comparing options: house meetings, shared space and peer accountability all run among men working through the same early stage of recovery, on the same schedule of expectations.

What Level 2 AzRHA Certification Establishes

Certification by the Arizona Recovery Housing Association commits Sweetwater House to a written code of ethics, disclosed fees and house rules before move-in, a documented relapse and discharge policy, and review through a complaint process outside the house. Level 2 describes peer-managed housing with a resident manager on site and structured daily expectations, which is the model Phoenix Sober Living runs at every address it certifies.

A House Manager Pathway for Residents

Phoenix Sober Living describes a track where residents who complete the program can move into house manager roles themselves, staffing later cohorts with people who came through the same structure. For a man weighing how much accountability a house actually enforces day to day, having managers drawn from the program's own alumni is a different proposition than an outside landlord checking in occasionally.

Recovery Housing for Men in Phoenix

Sweetwater House sits within the twelve-house Phoenix Sober Living network in Maricopa County. Admissions, current fees and any questions about house rules go through the operator directly, and a man who needs a different Phoenix Sober Living address later can be considered without reapplying from scratch.
