Agua Fria House Sober House

About this Sober House

Agua Fria House is a certified sober house in Avondale, Arizona, in Maricopa County. Phoenix Sober Living operates the property and has certified it at Level 2 with the Arizona Recovery Housing Association.

A Sober Living Home in the West Valley

Agua Fria House is the one Phoenix Sober Living residence sited outside Phoenix proper, in Avondale, a West Valley city that takes its name from the same Agua Fria River running through the area. The Loop 101 and Interstate 10 corridors put Avondale within easy reach of the rest of the Valley, so residents are not cut off from the wider metro just because their house sits west of the city line.

What Level 2 AzRHA Certification Establishes

Certification by the Arizona Recovery Housing Association binds a residence to a written code of ethics, disclosed fees and house rules before move-in, a documented relapse and discharge policy, and review through a complaint process outside the house itself. Level 2 describes structured, peer-managed housing with a resident manager living on site.

Serving Avondale and the West Valley

Avondale sits in Maricopa County alongside the rest of the Phoenix metro area, and its growth over the past two decades has brought retail, employers and services that used to require a drive into central Phoenix. That shift matters for a resident building a daily routine of work and recovery support without needing to cross the whole Valley to do it.

One of Twelve Phoenix Sober Living Homes

Agua Fria House is part of the same twelve-house Phoenix Sober Living portfolio that runs the operator's Phoenix properties, all certified at Level 2. Admissions and current fees are handled by the operator directly, and residents who need a different city or setting can be considered for one of the company's Phoenix addresses instead.
