True North Recovery Residence Wasilla Men; Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

True North Recovery Residence Wasilla is a sober living home in Wasilla, Alaska, serving men and women across the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. It offers a substance-free living environment that is safe and stable, with no minimum and no maximum length of stay.

That open-ended stay is unusual. Most recovery housing runs on a fixed clock, and people who need longer end up leaving before they are ready. Here the length is set by treatment progress instead.

Who Lives In This Wasilla Recovery Residence

Everyone living here is actively participating in treatment, using peer support and engaged in case management. The house works as one component of a care plan rather than a standalone rental, and residents are expected to be doing the work alongside the housing.

Men's And Women's Sober Living Under One Operator

Housing is provided for both men and women. In the Mat-Su Valley, where residential options are limited and demand outstrips them, a provider that can place either is doing something practical.

A Recovery Home Inside A Full Continuum

Its operator also runs withdrawal management, inpatient residential treatment, day treatment, outpatient and intensive outpatient services, telehealth and re-entry support in the Valley. Moving between levels of care does not require finding a new organization or a new town.

Matanuska-Susitna Borough Recovery Housing And Geography

Wasilla sits on the road system with Anchorage roughly 45 minutes south, so residents keep access to the state's largest medical and employment center while living somewhere considerably cheaper. The house address is not published, and placement runs through the operator.
