The Alice Douglas Sober House is a beautiful structured sober living home, offering three levels of comfortable sober living, located conveniently in downtown Bath, Maine, right across from Bath Iron Works. The Poseidon Sober House for Men, a MARR Certified recovery residence, located in South Portland, Maine. This sober living home serves men who are serious about their recovery journey, supported through in-home meetings and support from a House Manager and staff. The Poseidon Sober House is poised to change lives across the State of Maine.
The Washington Sober House is open in Bath, Maine, offering residency to men in recovery from addiction to alcohol or drugs. This beautiful home offers three levels of comfortable sober living, located conveniently in downtown Bath, Maine, right across from Bath Iron Works. Maine Sober Living Operators
Nearly all sober living providers offer a supportive and safe living environment in their recovery homes. Most sober living homes in Maine are located in Portland, but there are plenty of other sober houses throughout the state. Most sober homes serve only one gender, but some are coed. Most recovery residences require participation in sober house meetings, A.A. or N.A. meetings outside of the home, and nearly all sober living requires random drug and alcohol screening for all residents.

The Maine Alliance for Addiction Recovery is a Maine non-profit organization providing telephone support and resources to those in recovery.
