The Council of Southeast PA, Inc is a recovery housing provider in New Britain, Pennsylvania. The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania is a nonprofit substance use prevention, treatment and recovery support organization based in Doylestown, Bucks County, serving Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Philadelphia Counties since 1974.

A Regional Prevention and Treatment Organization

The Council runs three main service lines: community prevention and education programs, outpatient drug and alcohol treatment and case management, and recovery support services delivered through PRO-ACT and its network of Regional Recovery Hubs. It reaches roughly 10,000 people a year across its four-county service area.

Recovery Support Rather Than Residential Housing

The Council's Doylestown headquarters houses its outpatient and recovery support programs, including the Women's Recovery Community Center, a program space for women in recovery. These are staffed, non-residential locations rather than sober living homes, and nobody lives on site.

Serving Southeastern Pennsylvania

Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Philadelphia Counties fall inside the Council's service area, and its recovery community centers connect people in the region to peer support, case management and referrals into treatment and, where needed, into separately operated sober living homes.
