Each house is single-gender, and the split holds regardless of county. Farmhouse, Freedom Hill and Liberty Hill serve men; MRH and VKH serve women. Liberty Hill is also wheelchair accessible, a distinction not every house in the network carries.

The residences are certified at the Peer-Run, Managed or Supervised level and appear on the list maintained by Ohio Recovery Housing. Certification is granted house by house, so a resident comparing options should confirm the specific level and address they are applying to.
