A Mission Rooted in Structure, Accountability, and Compassion

Spirit of Compassion was founded with a clear and powerful mission: to provide a nurturing, disciplined, and supportive recovery environment for men committed to lasting sobriety. With a specialized focus on serving veterans as well as professionals and court-referred individuals, the program offers a structured path toward independence, employment readiness, and full community reintegration.

Guided by core values including accountability, structure, compassion, leadership, and excellence, Spirit of Compassion aligns closely with the Vanderburgh Sober Living system—utilizing proven standards, peer mentorship, and measurable accountability to drive meaningful outcomes for residents.

Santiago Vazquez brings both personal and professional dedication to this mission, combining military discipline with recovery expertise to create an environment where residents are empowered to rebuild their lives and emerge as leaders in their communities.
