Who the Program Accepts

The operator accepts men who have completed the House of Correction's Substance Options Treatment Program and who are on parole, on probation, enrolled in the county's COAP program, or have already finished their sentence. Building admission around that pathway lets Reconciliation House coordinate closely with the corrections system it draws most of its residents from.

Reconciliation House funds its work through a combination of grants, donations and the weekly rent residents pay, a common model for faith-based reentry housing that keeps costs manageable for men with little income right after release.

MASH Certification at NARR Level II

The organization's residence holds certification through the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing at NARR Level II, requiring a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules, and a documented relapse and discharge policy.

Serving Webster and Worcester County

Webster sits in the southern part of Worcester County, close to the Connecticut border, and Reconciliation House has built its reentry program specifically around the county's House of Correction.
